These terms apply to your use of lyts.link and any material we make available from it. The site is operated by Lyts Technologies Inc.. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

If you open a Lyts practice account, a separate subscription agreement will govern that account and will take precedence over these terms where the two conflict.

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or error free. Features and pricing described here may change without notice, and submitting a request through this site does not by itself create an account or oblige us to provide one. Any account we open for you is governed by the subscription agreement described above.

Lyts is not a law firm and does not provide legal, audit, or compliance advice. Lyts verifies document integrity and chain of custody, not the accuracy of document contents.

Nothing on this site is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional about your obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, FINTRAC guidance, or any other law. You remain solely responsible for your compliance program, for the accuracy and completeness of your records, and for meeting any regulatory deadline that applies to you.

You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any regulation;
• submit content through our forms that you do not have the right to share, including confidential client information or personal information about third parties;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems, or any account;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without our written permission;
• scrape, spider, or otherwise harvest the site at a volume that degrades it for others;
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization.

We may suspend or refuse access to anyone who breaches these terms. If you believe you have found a security issue, please tell us at hello@lyts.link before disclosing it.

The site and everything in it, including the Lyts name, wordmark, copy, design, and code, is owned by Lyts Technologies Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property law. You may view and share the site, and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy, adapt, or redistribute substantial parts of it, or use our branding, without our written permission.

You keep ownership of anything you send us. By sending it you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to read, store, and use it for the purpose of responding to you and operating the service. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Form submissions are handled by a third-party form processing service, and the site is delivered by a third-party host. We are not responsible for the practices of those providers or of any site we link to. See the privacy policy for how submissions are handled.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lyts Technologies Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or regulatory penalty, arising out of or related to your use of the site, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the site is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Lyts Technologies Inc. harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada for any dispute arising from these terms or the site.

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
